Kathikas |
Vardos Taverna |
An outdoor restaurant, right alongside the sea, so particularly pleasant for lunch. Quite a comprehensive menu offering local and international favourites - oh and cocktails too(!). I particularly like their mussels washed down with a Margarita! And they have the advantage of sunloungers on luscious grass there too - so if you fancy an afternoon nap al fresco, straight after your meal, you don't have to move very far! |
Next to The Amatheus Beach Hotel on the road between Tomb of the Kings and Coral Bay. |
Vatouthkia Snack Bar - Restaurant - Cocktail Bar

Viklari Restaurant – the Last Castle |
(Lunch only) Set lunch of chicken/lamb/pork, baked potato, salad for less than five pounds. Brandy Sour is good here !! Open April-October only I think – a nice beach in this area too. |
A bit of a drive past Coral Bay but worth the drive and good view from the restaurant. Go past Coral Bay and turn at the Bird Sanctuary – follow bumpy road, past fish place on a bend, until you see the sign and drive up the hill and you can see the restaurant up above. |

for Ribs –– huge portions be careful !
