Mushroom Supreme


12 fresh large mushrooms
2 cups diced dry bread
1/2 cup grated Parmesean cheese
2 tbsp dried onions
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup dry vermouth
Cheddar cheese

Break off and chop the mushroom stems. Scoop out the gills and discard. Combine the chopped stems with bread, parmesean cheese, onions, sunflower seeds, parsley flakes, lemon pepper, salt, butter, and vermouth.

Pack the mixture into the mushroom caps.

Bake in a shallow pan with small amount of water for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.

Remove and criss-cross each mushroom with slivers of Cheddar cheese, then replace in oven until cheese melts.

Makes 6-12 servings.
