Gently fry the vegetables in the butter for 5-6 mins. Add the diced Beef and cook for 5-6 mins. Add the herbs and flour and then slowly add the beef stock while stirring, cook for another 5-6 mins. Add the gravy browning and seasoning. Slow cook for 1- 1/2 hours. Add ½ pint of Guinness and stir. Season and serve with roast potato, carrot and parsnip. |
